Annual General Body Meeting

Notice is hereby given for the Twenty eighth (28^th) Annual General Body Meeting of the Indian Nuclear Society (INS) as per the following schedule:

Day & Date : Saturday, 13^th August 2022

Time:              4:00 pm

Venue:           AERB Auditorium B, Niyamak Bhawan ‘B’, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai – 400094

AGENDA

1. 1)  To read and confirm the minutes of the 27th Annual General Body Meeting held on 7th March 2017.

2. 2)  To introduce the INS EC Members elected through the elections held in March 2020

4. 3)  Reports on the activities of INS since last General Body Meeting held on 7^th March 2017:
5.       a) Part1 : Report for the period 1^st April, 2016 to 31^st March 2020 (based on a detailed report submitted
6.                         by Shri R.K. Singh, outgoing Secretary, INS)
7.       b) Part2 : Report for the period 1^st April, 2020 to 30^th June 2022.
8.  
9. 4)  To approve the Audited Statements of Accounts for the years:
   1.        a) FY ending on 31-March-2017, 
   2.        b) FY ending on 31-March-2018,
   3.        c) FY ending on 31-March-2019,
   4.        d) FY ending on 31-March-2020,
   5.        e) FY ending on 31-March-2021.

5. 5)  To appoint the Auditors for the FY 2022-23 and fix their remunerations.

6. 6)  To propose to hold the next INS EC elections in September/October 2022 and appoint the Election Sub-committee. The following names are proposed by the EC for the consideration of the General Body:
   1.     i) Shri N.K. Bansal (LM-00504) – Returning Officer
   2.     ii) Dr. Ashok Kumar (LM-06194) – Member
   3.     ii) Dr. A. Ramakrishna (LM-05058) – Member

7. 7)  Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

• 2) If there is no quorum (minimum 50 members), the meeting shall be adjourned by half an hour and the adjourned meeting shall be held at 4:30 pm to conduct the above agenda
